Membership
Each member has their very own personal profile page where they can choose a grom character and name it to fit their personality. The profile page is also a portal that will link to any exclusive, member only promotions. By having an account, members are eligible to win prizes that need to be shipped to a mailing address. All accounts require an adult email address which helps parents keep track of all grom's online activities. All new grom members also receive a sticker pack of the grom characters and can opt in to receive email notification on latest game and website updates.
K2groms.com has continually-evolving content moderated and created by people that care about about kids. Games and activities promote awareness of sport safety gear and equipment while engaging groms in safe fun. We support parents in their efforts to encourage safe online habits.
All member information is stored in a secure database on a secure server. All accounts are protected by a user name and password. Don’t give your information out to your friends! They can make their own grom.
All comments that come into the K2 Groms blog are moderated. If the comment is not appropriate for the k2groms.com audience, the comment will be deleted.
K2groms.com is geared towards kids from 6-12 and all content is created for this age-range. If K2groms.com does not meet your needs for K2 content, please check k2skis.com, k2snowboarding.com or k2skates.com.
Sticker packs will be collected and mailed out twice a month. Once you have signed up for membership, please allow 4 weeks for delivery of your K2groms.com sticker pack. If you have not received your stickerpack after 4 weeks, please email ski_patrol@k2groms.com and type Grom Sticker Pack in the subject line.
My Account
If you forgot your K2groms.com Username or Password, simply go to the home page and click the word Forgot? in the Login Now area.
Username:
You will be asked to enter your email address and your Username will be emailed to you.
Password:
You will be asked to enter your username and a new temporary password will be sent to you.
Stay cool. You can always email us through the contact us form and just tell us to check out what is going on with your account. Don't forget to include your grom name or some of your account information. Someone will contact you to make sure you are registered correctly.
Technical Support
Most technical issues can be solved by:
• Refresh or reloading the webpage. Look at the very top of your screen for a button in your browser (the big window the website sits in, duh) there is a toolbar with icons. Look for one that has an arrow or go to the menu that says "View."
• Your Internet connection. It's cyberspace man, sometimes there is no explanation. It can be slow or interrupted. Try back again later, dude.
• Updating your browser. If things are looking really weird and out of place or empty or you can't read something, make sure you get a parent to update your browser (like Internet Explorer, Safari or Firefox).
